The Ladyfish 13 watt work light is designes to offer maximum durability and reliability in small packaging. It is designed to withstand harsh industrial and machine environments, and extremely brutal work areas.

WATERTIGHT HEAD ASSEMBLY

The fixture casing is built with a clear PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride) tube that is virtually unbreakable even in the most hostile industrial environments. It is resilient and extremely versatile in extreme vibration and moist/wet conditions. The PVC end caps serve as impact protection. The metal clamps, coupled with the tight fitting end caps, serve to keep the fixture head waterproof and dry in very wet and moist environments. A bright 13 watt natural white light (4100 Kelvin bulb), and the defusing reflector, offer exceptionally bright natural white light over a wide surface area. The specially designed reflector will not cast off traditional colors. This eliminates artificial shadowing in the work area. The reflector directs light while shielding the operator's eyes.

EXTERNAL BALLAST

This remarkable fixture offers a ballast externally and in-line with the cord. This allows the fixture and light source to be placed into rugged and hostile machining and industrial environments while protecting the expensive ballast in a safe, dry location. The ballast is encased for easy serviceability and cord adjustment. Easy mounting is accomplished with a flanged ballast box containing four screw holes at the base.

OIL-RESISTANT CABLING

Each fluorescent fixture ships standard with 25 feet of SJT oil-resistant cabling and grounded plug.

MOUNTING BRACKETS

A wide variety of mounting brackets and attachments are available. Fixtures mount directly to the machine tool or press without the need for special housing. Workers can use hands and arms freely. The various brackets hold fixtures firmly in position for exact light positioning. Each bracket allows rotation to position light accurately.
