APPLICATION
The new Tough Guy Series (HLP-1000) of Halogen Lighting fixtures
are designed and built to meet the demands of the most hostile
machine and industrial environments in terms of heavy coolant/lubricants,
vibration, and flying metal chips.
SUPERIOR FEATURES
- 5" head is molded as a single piece of extruded
aluminum eliminating a backplate or a future area where water/coolants
can penetrate into the head cavity. This offers a waterproof
head for maximum reliability in a harsh coolant application.
- Articulated arms, elbow joints, and bases are
waterproof, keeping the light dry in even the most hostile coolant
and lubricant environments.
- Superior chip-resistant tempered glass lenses
offer your operation maximum safety, provides maintenance-free
operation, and ease of cleaning. No protective guards are needed
that can fracture the light source.
- Large positioning knobs are standard. Once positioned,
each light will withstand the most hostile coolant and vibration
environment without movement. Up to five points of adjustment.
Base offers 320 degree swivel providing accurate light disbursement
to the work area.
- T-bar handle and large knobs provide easy positioning
without the use of special tooling.
- Bulbs are easily replaced by removing the front
6 screws and tempered glass lens.
- 70 watt/24 volt halogen bulb is standard with
each fixture offering intense white light to the operator and
application. Fixtures will also accommodate 70, 50, and 20 watt
halogen bulbs. If a 12 volt fixture is required, simply replace
the 24 volt bulb with a 12 volt bulb.
- Made of anodized extruded aluminum that won't
rust over time and ships standard with 6 feet of SJT oil-resistant
cable.
- The Tough Guy 1000 Series of halogen machine
tool lights operates with an external 12 or 24 volt transformer
or can be wired directly to the 12 or 24 volt outlet in
the machine control panel. Operator safety is enhanced without
danger of electric shock.
